NSL Finals.

Oh my gosh, yesterday was the best day ever! Well not just because of the match (Stingrays vs Marlins), but because of the pre-match, march-in and post-match. I really loved yesterday to bits. Miss Chen plays for Stingrays and so we decided to cheer her on with a (handmade) card and a bottle of Heaven and Earth Green Tea. We wrote our wishes on this nice black paper (which was folded into half) with CHEN HUIFEN big big on the front cover. Ha I didn't go pass it to her because I was busy drawing the (make shift) GO MISS CHEN banner. So, the others went and this is the story I heard: Miss Chen was shooting so they had to pass to someone else. So the someone else was Zhang Ting Jun. They asked Zhang Ting Jun if she could pass the card to Miss Chen but she didn't really get what they were trying to say, so Huey Chyi said Chen Huifen. Zhang Ting Jun went like OH, HUIFEN and she smiled. Retarded yet, HAHA!

Okay, so let's get to the match. Kristal, Rae, Lois and Ye Yun did not have duty yesterday so well we (Bully Gang) asked them to hold on to the banner and SHOW IT. But it failed, ha. The (make shift) banner was totally invisible because of the striking golden words. Aw, my hard work! Anyway, Stingrays lost to Marlins with a score of 49 to 37 in yesterday's finals. Sad but what can I do? March-in was right after the match so I had to go get the Marlins players. While marching in, I had this conversation with Prem:

Prem: Can walk slower, please? (drags the please for a little while)
(Livia turns and look at Prem who was walking in a dua3 pai2 way)
Livia: Okay okay! (nods franctically, holding on to her laughter)
(Livia reaches the place where she has to stand)
Prem: Thank you (in a rather weird or special way)
Livia: Sorry! (in a super pai2 seh3 way)

That was the second time I talked to Prem (yay), HAHAHA! Then after march-in, prize-giving and announcements for U21 and Open Teams, there was the photo taking session. I was supposed to lead the Marlins out but after I walked two steps, Prem took the board thing from me and said bye bye. Ha! Anyway, during photo-taking session, the Year 2 netballers went to look for Miss Chen (who was trying very hard to take the tape from her leg) to ask her to take photos with us. We snatched her from her team for a pretty long while and I feel really bad about that. Man, sorry Stingrays! Oh yes, Trik refused to let Miss Chen see the banner we made so Miss Chen kind of snatched it from her and was looking (very) happy after she read the content. She promised to sign 11 signatures for us on that banner so we can split it and have a piece each. Wonder if she remembers, ha. Anyway that was the highlights of yesterday's super cool NSL Finals. Yay, I can't wait for Tuesday!

I forgot to mention, Zhang Ting Jun came to us (RV Netballers) after everything and thank us for helping in NSL and that they (the players) really appreciate it. And guess what! She nodded in appreciation and that totally made all of us (Rae especially) scream/cheer and melt.
